Welcome to Cooper Christian Academy! My name is Steve Bowers and I am the Head of School for CCA. I love being a part of this new Christian elementary school in Shelbyville, TN; providing a dynamic, faith based, non-denominational option for education in Bedford County.
At CCA you will find a strong Kindergarten through 3rd grade elementary program with the school planning to ultimately be a Kindergarten – 8th grade campus. We are temporarily located at the First Christian Church, 309 Madison Street, with plans to build a brand new campus by the Fall of 2026. CCA is adding a grade each school year and will be adding 3rd grade for the 2024 – 2025 school year. We enjoy a strong academic program that also includes several Fine Arts offerings: Art, Music and Physical Education.
Our staff enjoys the ministry of teaching, which allows them to invest in our area students, parents and grandparents through this amazing school. We see Christian education as an opportunity to partner with Christian families who desire a robust academic environment where small class sizes (15 per class – maximum) provide students with many one-on-one and small group learning times. Parents will also find that their child will be in an a setting where Truth and spiritual growth are encouraged and emphasized.
