In grades Kindergarten – 8, Cooper Christian Academy uses Bob Jones University Press (BJUP) for our main academic curricular areas.  It is an exceptional educational program designed to provide your child with a strong academic foundation while integrating a biblical worldview.

Bible Curriculum

Bible is considered a “Core-Curriculum” at Cooper Christian Academy – it is probably our most important subject that we teach.  We are excited to introduce you to the Deep Roots Bible Curriculum which is designed to provide your child with a comprehensive and engaging approach to understanding the Bible and growing in their faith.

The Deep Roots Bible Curriculum aims to:

  • Foster a Strong Biblical Foundation: Students will explore the stories, teaching, and principles found in Scripture, helping them to develop a deep understanding of God’s Word.
  • Encourage Personal Application: Lessons are structured to encourage students to apply biblical principles to their daily lives, while fostering spiritual growth and character development.
  • Cultivate Critical Thinking: The curriculum promotes critical thinking and discussion, allowing students to ask questions and engage with the material in meaningful ways.

At CCA, we intentionally examine all subject areas through the lens of the Bible. Our teachers equip students with a Biblical worldview by addressing the Biblical purpose for studying the topic.  Students will come to the realization that God is present in all facets of life and that Scripture is our ultimate source of truth.

Testing:

Cooper Christian Academy will use several different testing methods. Grade-level Readiness tests, Standardized Achievement tests, reading tests, etc. with our students.

Accreditation:

Cooper Christian Academy is a member of ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and is proud to offer a Biblically-integrated, academically challenging curriculum for all of our students from Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
